William M. Niemi founded Niemi Development Partners in Roseville, CA in 2005 to provide advisory services to developers and capital investors. Prior to establishing Niemi Development Partners, Mr. Niemi led Dunmore Homes in Roseville, CA to be recognized as the 85th largest home builder in the country in 2004 with over $300,000,000 in revenue. He joined Dunmore Homes as a turnaround specialist in 1991 and led the company through the severe economic recession of the early ‘90’s. He became president in 1998 and under his leadership Dunmore Homes experienced unprecedented growth from 2000 to 2004. In 2005, he sold his 25% share in the business to the founder’s son.

From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Niemi was the founding principal of McClendon Niemi Consulting in Sacramento and provided crisis management and turnaround services to companies facing severe financial and business challenges. His experience in weathering economic cycles and track record of producing favorable results is the resilience that clients still depend on today.

Mr. Niemi’s earned his early development experience at FPI Development in Sacramento first as CFO in 1981 and then as president for 1984 to 1986. Under his leadership, FPI developed, owned and operated 85 garden style apartment complexes in California and Nevada.

The foundation for Mr. Niemi’s financial expertise was laid through his work as a CPA and manager for Pricewaterhouse CPA’s in Detroit and Sacramento from 1976 to 1981.

He earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He served as a member of the board of directors of the North State BIA, Home Aid of Sacramento and the CBIA. He was honored by being inducted into the California Homebuilding Foundation Hall of Fame in 2010.
